Packaging machines of “Tauras-Fenix” which are in conformity with technical and quality standards – is a result of continuous technological progress. The production complex of “Tauras-Fenix” includes design bureau, as well as machine, galvanizing, electromechanical, development and assembly shops.

Highly skilled design engineers are engaged in machines designing and they use in their work the latest version of Pro/Engineer being the system CAD/CAM of the upper level. The design bureau of “Tauras-Fenix” has great numbers of own patent designs. Many years' practical experience allows resolving various problems and develops optimal models for the customers.

Due to the production facilities the designers can realize the projects up to standard. The production area of “Tauras-Fenix” is more than 25 000 m² (4 engineering buildings). The company has a huge base and metal-working machinery numbers more than 300 units. 

Metal processing to produce parts for the equipment is carried out at the machining department. Hydraulic abrasive sawing provides the production with semi-manufactured articles of high quality. Bending and welding works to manufacture frameworks of the machines are realized at the frame-assembling department. The preliminary processing of piece articles is realized at the versatile machine tools department. CNC turn/mill machines and CNC mill machines allow processing semi-manufactured articles at 5 positions simultaneously.

Technical control division develops CNC control programs for parts processing in the case of milling work, drilling and screwing. Technologists are charged with development of engineering processes, control manufacturability in design documentation, cutting and measuring tools selection, metal-cutting calculation for CNC machines.

Quality control department is engaged in checking of parts for quality, examining for compliance with technical requirements, standard pieces and design documentation. Procurement department selects suppliers and realizes incoming inspection of components.

Technicians of assembling department assemble serial packaging and filling & packaging automatic machines, heat shrink machines and processing lines. Workers of electromechanical department assemble and mount boards as well as control panels. Management system department is engaged in developing of control programs for packaging machines and also, complete the control units. Technicians of research & development shop test equipment under the observation of experienced designers. All machines are tested with/without load in continuous operation during some days.

Any machine can not be dispatched without tests. Before dispatch the machine arrangement is checked then it is marked and packed for further transportation. Due to design modularity the machines of “Tauras-Fenix” are produced in the shortest period. At the same time the machines can be adapted to the customers’ requirements. Quality and reliability of the machines are ensured by components produced at the own production area. More than 1500 packaging machines are dispatched annually.

Special guided tours are conducted for guests to show them the plant. Samples of machines from various ranges are represented in the show house. It is very convenient both for clients decided to purchase several machines at once and for buyers of small models who plan to extend in what follows. There is also a possibility to pack customers products with the presented machines. Thus, the customer can check filling & packaging processes quality personally. Besides technicians of the customer can be trained and get practical experience in the machines operation.
