Quality management

“Quality” with regard to products manufacturing means numbers of actions aimed at providing of products high quality level. It is reached through efficient organization of all processes involved in production, distribution and further service.

Quality management system allows finding out company’s strengths and determining directions for development. Permanent improvement of company’s activity based on quality management system in accordance with international quality standards allows producing competitive products.

In 2001 machinery plant “Tauras-Fenix” was the first which received international certificate of quality management system ISO 9001:2000 (GOST R ISO 9001-2001).

Annually the company confirms that all processes of products lifecycle meet the international standards, namely: designing, manufacturing and selling of machines, materials and spares purchasing, products packaging and shipping as well as commissioning and services.

Thus, 15th of July, 2009 the certificate authority public corporation “TEST – St.Petersburg” took a decision to grant a certificate of conformity which proves that quality management system of “Tauras-Fenix”Co. meets the requirements of international standards ISO 2008. At the same time the company received another certificate – IQNet and accreditation certificate in the system SINSERT. Tauras-Fenix Co. guarantees that all its manufacturing and management processes conform to requirements of ISO 9001:2008.

Quality management

All machines produced by Tauras-Fenix Co. are entitled to bear CE sign as a proof of its conformity with EU safety requirements.

One of the steps in the development of quality management system was the company participation in St. Petersburg Government Prize for Quality in 2007. It was preceded by self-appraisal conducting for the last five years for the following criteria: leading role of the leadership, company policy and strategy in the quality filed, staff, partnerships and resources, consumers’ satisfaction by the quality of products and services, staff satisfaction, company influence on the society, company work results.

Eventually, “Tauras-Fenix” Co. took the second place and was awarded with the Diploma signed by V. Matvienko, the city governor. In 2009 the company participated in the contest of St. Petersburg Government Prize for Quality at the second time and took the first place, the company was among seven laureates. The 1st place confirms the correctness of the chosen more than 10 years course of quality system improvement.
